Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Greece for Q2 2024

The second quarter of 2024 saw notable trends in the performance of the top 5 travel and local apps on the Android platform in Greece. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads and active users based on Sensor Tower data.

FREENOW - Taxi and more experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting with around 5.8K downloads in early April and peaking at approximately 7.9K by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 26.7K to around 24K in April but rebounded to end the quarter at approximately 26.6K.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, beginning with about 3.9K and reaching a high of 9.3K in mid-June. The app’s active user base grew from around 90.5K in early April to a peak of 101K in early June, finishing the quarter with approximately 91.7K active users.

MyCoast had an impressive launch, with weekly downloads starting at 1.6K in late April and surging to around 18.4K by mid-May. Although downloads fluctuated, the app managed to end June with about 8.5K weekly downloads.

Ferryhopper - The Ferries App saw a steady rise in weekly downloads from 1.9K in early April to around 5.3K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, increasing from approximately 3.8K to 8.7K over the quarter.

Google Earth displayed consistent performance with weekly downloads ranging from 2.7K to 4K. Its active user base remained stable, fluctuating between 24.3K and 26.2K throughout the quarter.
